JULY 22 - JULY 26, 2024
9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
Youth Civic Leadership Training
Making a difference starts now!
We invite students entering 6th and 7th grade(s) who wish to make a difference in the community and who would like to develop their leadership style, make new friends and experience the rewards of volunteering, to register for the iCare...iServe...iLead Youth Leadership Program. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity where the community becomes your classroom!
Experiences in 2023 included geocaching with the Dublin Arts Council, hearing from distinguished entrepreneurs, business professionals, and elected officials; volunteering at the Dublin Food Pantry, One Dublin and Goodwill, plus much more.
Based on the characteristics of Respect, Responsibility, and Fairness, the Chamber's iCare, iServe, iLead: Youth Leadership Program pairs these concepts with a healthy dose of community involvement. The goal is to foster a spirit of civic commitment, helps to develop good decision-making skills and encourages your child to reach their leadership potential!
Developed for middle-school students, the Chamber's iCare, iServe, iLead Youth Leadership Program will be held the week of July 22 through July 26, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes a parent orientation and a graduation ceremony.
This summer leadership program is expected to sell out! Register your child online today.
Individuals will participate in a program unique to Dublin, providing information about:
- Team building and communication
- Leadership skills
- Peer mediation
- Self-respect and raising awareness
- Making positive choices
- Community service
- Environment and nature
Have your child experience hands-on community service experiences:
- Self-discovery through first-hand experiences with local organizations and businesses that provide opportunities for students to better comprehend the needs of the community and its residents
- Life lessons learned through these activities are long-lasting and often lead to heightened community involvement far beyond the scope of the youth program.
