Sales Connection Breakfast Series with Steve Barton

This month's speaker is Steve Barton, General Manager at Two Men and A Truck. Steve has been at  Two Men and A Truck since 2002 and has held three different Senior Management positions over the past 19 years as a Senior Operations Manager, Senior Sales Manager, and current to date a General Management position. In his current position he meets with senior department managers to monitor progress on key issues and projects as well help plan and implement strategies. Along with this, he ensures operational compliance of every type for local, state, and federal governing bodies as well as PUCO and corporate office compliance.

Steve will share their approach to building a successful inbound sales team that understands the importance of selling value over simply giving estimates.  In today’s world, customers often want quick quotes and answers and sales reps can fall into the trap of being order takers, Steve will discuss how their teams overcome those obstacles and work to understand the real needs of the customer and use that to find a solution for each customer.  

As the market continues to change, it is important the sales group adapts to create their own lead flow.  It can be difficult to get inbound salespeople to adapt when the phone isn’t ringing as much, we will dive into some tactics that Two Men and A Truck has used to diversify their sales approach and create more opportunity when lead flow slows down.
