The Dublin Chamber of Commerce is seeking a driven and personable Membership Development Director to lead our membership growth strategy. This is a highly visible, relationship-centered role for someone who is energized by community, passionate about local business, and ready to be on the front lines of a thriving business ecosystem.What You'll Do
• Identify, recruit, and convert prospective members through targeted outreach, calls, and business visits• Present tailored membership benefit packages aligned to each business's goals• Achieve annual membership growth and retention targets; report progress weekly to COO• Identify gaps in business categories and proactively target those sectors• Manage the member renewal process and re-engage lapsed members• Serve as a dedicated, high-touch point of contact for Chamber members• Oversee member onboarding including welcome packets, website listings, and introductory communications• Coordinate and promote member events including Business After Hours, Morning Brews, Taste of Dublin, ribbon cuttings, and more• Manage member benefit programs, coupon deals, and the member logo program• Contribute to newsletters, social media content, and member spotlights• Maintain accurate member records in ChamberMaster CRM and track engagement metrics• Generate revenue through event sponsorships, ad sales, and program sponsorshipsWhat You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field plus 3–5 years of sales, membership, or community engagement experience• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with business owners and community leaders• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Self-motivated and comfortable balancing multiple priorities independently• Familiarity with Dublin's business community is a strong plus• Experience with Canva, social media strategy, or light graphic design is a bonus• Reliable transportation required for local travel• Full-Time, Exempt | In-Office, M–F + Some Evenings• Reports to: COO• Salary Range: Competitive salary commensurate with experience• Benefits: Healthcare · Paid holidays · Vacation & sick leave · Retirement with up to 3% match• To Apply: Send resume, salary requirements & cover letter to info@DublinChamber.orgThe Dublin Chamber of Commerce is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
