City of Dublin Approves Contract with Artist Ivan Depena for Next Public Artwork
The City of Dublin staff brought forward a resolution to Dublin City Council at the Nov. 4 meeting to approve a contract with artist Ivan Depeña for the Muirfield Drive Public Art Commission. The contract was authorized, and the project is planned to move forward at the Muirfield and Whittingham Drive location, with an anticipated completion in early 2026. Dublin Arts Council will be the final stop for Accessible Expressions Ohio, an annual statewide exhibition featuring Ohio artists with disabilities. Each year this diverse multimedia exhibit travels to accessible site throughout Ohio from April through December to celebrate and showcase artists with disabilities. For 2024, Dublin Arts Council will be the final destination, with the exhibition on-view from November 9 - December 19, 2024 with an opening reception on Saturday November 16, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. The

Dublin Arts Council (DAC) invites students to participate in Emerging 2025, an exhibition celebrating young artists. Submissions close on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at 5 p.m. The exhibition runs from Jan. 11 to Feb. 27, 2025.
